Heather Prevosti grew up in the rural Catskill Mountains, graduating from a small high school. She attended Elmira College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, along with a certificate in Secondary Education. Ms. Prevosti spent a semester abroad in Spain to earn a minor in Spanish.
After graduating from Elmira College, Ms. Prevosti moved to New York City and pursued a Master of Arts from the City University of New York at Staten Island. While teaching full time, Ms. Prevosti earned her Master of Arts in English Literature. She currently teaches 11th grade American Literature and AP English at CSI High School for International Studies.
Ms. Prevosti is an avid reader, enjoys most outdoor activities, including scubadiving. Her favorite dive site is “Turtle Pinnacle” off Hawaii’s Kona Coast.
