My name is Barbara Niederhoffer and I have been teaching mathematics for twenty-three years. I joined the CSI Faculty Setpember 2006. I have a BA from SUNY New Paltz and a MA from New York University, both in Mathematics Education. In addition to teaching math I love to knit, sew, and do embroidery and bead work.
I enjoy listening to music, visiting art museums, watching films (especially foreign films), and play with my dog Jimi. I can be counted on to: add math stories to class time, get to the root of problems, be positive, have students’ appreciation for math grow
